Apex Housing Association is an independent social housing provider based in Birmingham.

Right from the beginning AHA has maintained its Midland roots and its commitment to provide people with good quality accommodation. It has solid plans to continue in that tradition for many years to come.
Our Responsibility and Your Responsibility:We want to make sure that your home is well maintained, warm and safe. We are responsible for carrying out repairs and your home but as a tenant you are also responsible for keeping your home in a good condition. Here is a list of our responsibilities and your responsibilities:
Our Responsibility:
- The roof, walls, doors, window, frame and floors of your home
- Baths, toilets, sinks, wash-basins and kitchen units
- Electrical wiring
- Gas pipes, fitted heaters, radiators and water heaters, gutters, pipes and drains
- The maintenance of communal areas and their electrical supplies
Your Responsibility:
- Giving us reasonable access to repair your home
- Anything that belongs to you
- Cookers and fridge (except in sheltered housing)
- Fuses, light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
- Replacement of keys
- Toilet seats
- Letting us know if you want to alter the building you live in
- Any damage caused by you, your family or visitors
- Decorating the inside of your home
- Home contents insurance
- Looking after private garden
